The Lakes Region, the “green” region of Chile, due to its vegetation and climate, very similar to the countries of northern Europe is a very volcanic region giving to this territory the shape and form of what it is today, fill with a rugged land and many natural lakes. Cities like Frutillar or Puerto Varas are very similar to Baviera in Germany. The traditional habits of the inhabitants are always present in events similar to Oktoberfest and German dances.

The island of Chiloé, located further south, is the place where the tourist must pay a visit.

It is the largest island on the south american continent and offers interesting places with their old constructions and harbors.

San Carlos from Bariloche is one of the most beautiful cities in the Argentina. Bariloche per excellence became a tourist destination of the hand of the European mountaineering that explored its summits opening paths in the first three decades of the century and building refuges. Bariloche is the main center of ski of South America. Year after year, skiers and snowborder populate the hints of the Hill Cathedral and they fill the hotels. During the summer, the same naked mountains of snow, leave to the discovered dream forests among those that venture trekkers, climbers and  campers, every time in more number. Also in Bariloche one can make rafting, windsurf and fishing, among other sports. The city, entirely built following the coast of the lake and amid cypresses has among their outstanding points the Civic Center, a construction in stone and the majestic hotel Llao Llao, the most attractive in the country that was and recycled and opened their doors some years ago after a long period of closing again.
